You Like to Read EO, How’d You Like To Write for Us?

Creative Conference workshop

Hear ye, hear ye: All registered attendees of the Creative Conferences magazine writing workshop, held in Boulder on May 12th, will have the opportunity to submit a 350–700 word article to be considered for publication in July issue of EO.

The full-day workshop caters to beginning and intermediate writers looking to break into magazines. The faculty includes some of the best in the industry: award-winning journalists, authors, magazine editors, and writing coaches. Presentations range from identifying your story angle to tracking down an editor’s email address. EO’s own managing editor Jayme Moye will teach a session on how to pitch editors and land assignments.

They day ends with the selection of the winning article for publication in EO, and a keynote presentation by Sarah Gold, a veteran travel writer whose resume includes editorial positions with Fodor’s Travel Guides, Conde Nast Traveler, and Travel + Leisure.
