Spring is in full swing and this month’s theme on Confluence & Connections is WATER. The water we drink, the water we play in/on and the water we use in our daily lives and across industries.
On this episode, we sat down with Hilary Hutcheson to talk all about her experiences on and with water and the latest short film from Protect Our Winters, Patagonia, & Yeti. From climate change to her life as a fly fisher/fly fishing guide to how people are moving the needle to protect our playgrounds – you’re not going to want to miss this one.
Background on Drop:
On Earth Day 2021, Patagonia – in association with Protect Our Winters (POW) and Yeti – released Drop. In the short (but mighty) film, Hilary Hutcheson follows a drop of water along its journey from the Continental Divide to the Pacific Ocean. It’s a film of connection and connectivity, which uncovers – after 1500 winding miles – a harsh reality: that changes to the climate may derail that journey with massive consequences.
