Free Lift Tickets Friday – Monarch Mountain!

We’re giving away a pair of lift tickets each week to help get you out on the snow, now! Just comment here or on our #FLTF (Free Lift Tickets Friday) Facebook post and tell us why you should win these lift passes — the most deserving story gets the tickets; it’s as simple as that!

Our weekly giveaway is to Monarch Mountain!

Monarch Mountain just turned over 75 years, but the ski area certainly doesn’t look that old. When you arrive at Monarch, you’ll find a mix of classic and modern that makes falling back in love with the mountain oh-so-easy.

With fantastic tree skiing, beautifully groomed trails and epic backcountry, Monarch has terrain to match any skill level or preference. The mountain’s cat skiing has a reputation for being some of the best in the state, and the in-bound trails are anything but boring. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Monarch only serves up all-natural, Rocky Mountain snow?

It should be easy to spend time together on vacation, so the mountain offers discounted rates and personalized service for groups of 10 or more. You won’t be trying to wrangle your group through the ticket lines and rental shop, since your gear will be ready to go in a private room. Instead of parting ways once you arrive, take advantage of Monarch’s group or family skiing and riding lessons.

When you’re done making turns, head back at the lodge, defrost by the fire and grab a warm meal. The chef’s favorite this season is the Monarch Molten Burger, which is topped with melted pepper jack cheese, a raspberry jalapeno jam and fried jalapenos. Don’t miss out on Monarch’s famous bloody marys, either, with house-made mix. Not into mixed drinks? Grab one of our featured local brews.

Oh – and one more thing. Be sure to get a good night’s sleep so you can get back to the mountain bright and early the next day!
