Beginning earlier this month and running up until Christmas, animal lovers can now have a personalized insulated Polar Bottle water bottle with a picture of their favorite pet on it. And at the same time, help homeless and abandoned animals at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley—Polar Bottle will donate $5 from each pet-picture bottle sold.
The patented double-walled insulated water bottles fit standard bike water bottle cages for convenience, and feature a removable carrying strap for versatility. They are BPA free, made in the U.S., and are known to keep liquids cooler twice as long as non-insulated bottles.
Your pet photo will be printed on the insulating inner layer so that they show through and are protected by the clear outer plastic. They are available only through the online Polar Bottle store. Once you upload your 300dpi file at at least three inches on one side, the company will generate a proof for your approval and ship within a couple of days, all the way up to December 22.
Product Architects is the maker of Polar Bottle, a Boulder-based, woman-owned company in business since 1994. “Giving back to the community is an important part of our company culture,” explains Judy Amabile, president and co-founder, about the project. “We love animals, and our customers love their pets, so we thought this was a great way to support the efforts of our local humane society. I have adopted two dogs from them myself!”
The Humane Society of Boulder Valley provides care to more than 9,000 animals each year. Amazingly, 91 percent of the animals are adopted or re-united with their parents. Boulder Valley takes in animals from other regions as well, sparing the lives and providing homes for thousands more that would be euthanized.
Custom pet photo insulated water bottles are $20 each, with a $5 donation being made for each purchase. https://www.polarbottle.com/pet-photo-bottle/
