Have you been to the Tour de France? Surely you’ve seen footage from the race where fans are just a blur as the camera tracks riders blazing through the streets. If you’re smart, you’ve placed yourself on an uphill stretch to actually get a good look at the riders working their ass off. You could almost scrape sweat from their brow and bottle it as a keep sake… if you were into that sort of thing. But if you want to see speed or if you’re into the crashes, the uphill bit isn’t for you.
There is yet a better option. Literally though, there is only one such spot available. And that’s in the front seat of Team Mavic’s iconic yellow support car. You will be right in the caravan for stage 11 watching the worlds best cyclists climb the famous Col d’Aspin, Col du Tourmalet and finally ending at Cauterets.
The winner will receive travel, a night in the ’Special Service Course’ hotel and dinner with the Mavic neutral support team the night before Stage 11.
Registrations runs from Monday, April 20th, 2015 until Monday, June 1st, 2015. The opportunity is restricted to people living in an European country, the United States and in Canada (offer subject to conditions, read the contest rules).
