Fare thee well Exhibition Lift, long live the Black Mountain Lift! A-Basin is selling off the chairs from the old Exhibition Lift (the main lift that goes from the base to mid-mountain) on May 1st for the $450 per chair (click here for more details). Built in 1978, the Exhib Triple Lift had a good run but is being replaced by a speedy Quad Chair that will go from base to mid-mountain in under 3 minutes.
By the way, A-Basin has gotten over 10 inches of snow in the last 24 hours so this weekend might be a good time to ride Ol’ Exo’ one more time (A-Basin’s close date is tentatively scheduled for June 6th).
