Ginger Cracks (5.9) in Red Rocks–a great prep route before our course and exam began
Time flies and does an AMGA course once you’re on it. In the blink of an eye I’m back in Boulder and suddenly thinking about ice and snow.
I need to get down to a wrap-up for my AMGA rock-guide course, and take a look forward at the upcoming ice and ski season. I’m headed to New Hampshire in February for my “ice-instructor” course and then probably (hopefully!) over to Europe to shadow a few guided outings in preparation for my final ski exam in 2014.
I’m also going to do a gear recap of all the stuff I used (and loved!) during my course in Red Rocks, two weeks ago. I got to try out a few cool tricks, so stay tuned…
