The BCC–Your Crew of Climbers

The Boulder Climbing Community continues its advocacy work and (more important!) get togethers this coming week, Saturday, October 16, at 10:30 a.m. up on Flagstaff. City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Park staff will lead some bouldering, as well as an interpretive tour of the area. Meet at the “First Overhang” parking area, at the last hairpin before the entrance to the summit area.

If you’d rather kick back a bit more, check out the Wild and Scenic Film Festival, sponsored by the Access Fund, this October 14 and 15, at Neptune Mountaineering. At 7:30 p.m., the beer flows and the crowd gathers, with films starting at 8 p.m.

There are bunches of advocacy work going on, too, including trail repair, crag inventory, and Eldo help. Get involved and spend a few days of your year giving back to the sport and community we love!
