Spooning turns in the Berner–right on!
Europe has had a banner year, so this is the spring to get the goods with boards on your feet. Where? Sure, you can head to the Haute Route and you certainly won’t regret it, but how about something a little further afield? Bernese Oberland, eh? Read on.
Gringo-guide extraordinaire, Keith Garvey, has a couple spots left on his spring Berner trip and hot damn if I could snag one, I would…but alas. Why don’t you capitalize on my misfortune and get over there? Keith’s a solid dude, knows his way around the hills (he’s an IFMGA guide, yo!), and has a rep for having a good time above 2500m. The Bernese Oberland is a mountainous shangri-la in Swizterland, home to epic rock routes, huge glaciers, and yeah–great skiing. Haute Route quality, with a bit less of the int’l circus atmosphere. Check it out HERE.
