Those of you in the climbing community have probably heard our man, Bean Bowers, is currently undergoing round three of chemo for cancer. The super-alpine uber-hardman is doing well, but it’s been a rough go since he discovered his illness last winter. Tonight join the fundraiser at Avery Brewery (5763 Arapahoe Av, Boulder) at 6:30 for food, beer, hanging out…and a monster silent and live auction with gear, trips, guided outings, the works! Fifteen bucks at the door gets you in, then it’s a free-for-all orgy of climbing gear, smack talking, and generally having a badass time. All proceeds go towards helping Bean with his medical bills…so get there!
