Indeed, Rebel’s knocked up with twins and they’re scheduled to arrive in July. Boys, too–we’re in for it! When we decided to have a kid(s) (they say identical twins are a 1 in 300 shot–who knew?!), we also agreed I’d need to visit Europe in the spring, to check in on family…and get some playing done, too.
I rang two buddies in Italy’s Val d’Aosta and said I could be there mid-April and asked if they’d dig a run from Cham to Zermatt? Luckily for me they’re both free so away we go! We’ll probably do the standard haute route, or alta via as they say in Italiano, with a variation or two thrown in for fun and weather/snow conditions.
