Colorado’s resident and visiting recreationalists will soon have a good reason to head out of the mountains and into the Front Range. This month, Arc’teryx Equipment will open its latest U.S. brand store in Denver.
The 3500 sq. ft. store is part of the Cherry Creek Development on Columbine street, and marks the next stage in the companies U.S. retail expansion. Local customers will now have access to the brand’s complete line of products, starting with the current 2014/15 Winter collection as well as the opportunity to learn firsthand about the company’s design process.
Denver is the 6th U.S. brand store, with others including locations in Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, Washington DC with NYC and Boston set to open later in the year. All Arc’teryx product design, research and development is undertaken in-house at the company’s head office in North Vancouver, British Columbia.
“We’re really excited to open a store in a key core community,” said Adam David Ketcheson, VP and Senior Director of Marketing for Arc’teryx. “We are growing globally in all of our core markets and we strongly believe that is due to the fact that we remain obsessively focussed on building the highest performing product without compromising quality.”
The grand opening is on the weekend of September 26th and 27th, and the first 50 people through the door at 10am can win gift certificates, ranging from $50 to $1000, as well as a look at the detail of Arc’teryx products in a special sewing demonstration.
“The Denver store will be a unique opportunity for our key demographic to interact directly with the brand,” Ketcheson said. “It’s becoming more and more important for consumers to have that access to brands as they look for a deeper understanding of who they are partnering with in pursuit of amazing experiences.”
