Bike to Work Day

On Wednesday, June 22, Bike To Work Day returns with more than 250 stations set up in the Denver/Boulder area—69 in the city of Boulder alone. Throughout the day, local businesses and organizations will be giving out breakfast from 6:30 am until 9 am, water stations will be operating from 3:30 to 6 pm, and bike parties will be going on all through the evening. You could score a free bagel from Moe’s, win prizes on CU’s East Campus, and gobble down bacon at Moosejaw Mountaineering, all before you’ve sent your first email.

On your way home, be sure to check out Heifer and Hen for ice cream, popsicles, and other goodies. Upslope Brewing Co. will be having a happy hour for bicyclists, with the first fifty people to arrive getting a free pint glass filled with beer. There will also be bike parties at Standard Bike Repair and Crestview Church in Boulder.
