If the Army Corps of Engineers approve a proposal to expand Gross Reservoir., it will cause the loss of 30,000 trees, eagle nesting habitat and camp sites and increased traffic along Highways 128/93/72. Worse, expansion diverts water off the struggling Fraser and Colorado rivers. Fraser’s diversion total would go up to 85 percent , and it’s temperature, already approaching the max at which trout can survive, would increase.
