Hosted by Visit Grand Junction with great cooperation from the Grand Junction Bureau of Land Management Field Office, the Annual Grand Junction Off-Road endurance mountain bike event and Four Peaks Brewing Company Downtown Music Festival returns May 18-20, 2018.

Featuring the world-class Lunch Loops and neighboring trail systems, three courses will start and finish on Main Street in downtown Grand Junction, and will take riders through some of the most technically challenging and visually stunning landscapes in the country.

This endurance event will test fitness and reward perseverance. As riders return to the event hub, the 3-day downtown music festival is sure to offer participants a feeling of personal gratification through great surroundings, libations, and culinary indulgences.

Whether riding for the ‘all-finishers’ wine glass, a custom-etched bottle of locally sourced wine for the top five in the 30 and 40 Grand amateur events, or the $30,000 professional Cash Purse (with equal payouts to male and female categories), each participant is sure to find great achievement by completing the 15, 30 or 40 Grand course (1 Grand = 1 mile).

All visitors — including those not riding — are invited to attend and soak in Grand Junction’s thriving outdoor enthusiast opportunities and progressive American Main Street arts and retail. Enjoy sunrise yoga, paddle boarding on the Colorado River, sampling the region’s best wines, quality time with friends and family in Riverside Park, road rides in the Colorado National Monument, and trail systems beyond the three Grand courses offered in the event (think Fruita, Palisades and more!). Together, it’s an endless assortment of world-class riding for all ages and abilities. All are welcome at this 3-day event, and Grand Junction, Colorado is sure to deliver a notable experience.

Event-related ingredients include a huge Bike and Gear Expo, Four Peaks Brewing Company Beer Garden, Kids’ Fun Ride, and the Four Peaks Brewing Company Downtown Music Festival. The opportunity to be submerged in the mountain bike industry’s vibe and a downtown festival — all while enjoying a cool mesa evening in good company — brings the best of two worlds together.

Bring a chair, steady vibes, and good friends, then relax at the concert, applaud while the podiums are announced, and watch the sunset on Mesa County’s most impressive geological features.
