Trail Mix December – 2011

It’s hard to believe that 2011 has come and gone.  What a great year for Trail Mix – Twelve months, a couple hundred tunes showcasing two festivals, three record labels, and a collection of the most tremendous artists you can find – for free – online.  Folks, the word is spreading on where to find the best in new roots music.  It’s right here on Trail Mix.

To wrap up the year, we thought we’d toss a mix of what we consider to be the Best of 2011.  We thought about doing The Eleven Best of 2011 . . . but we went with twelve instead!

Here they are . . .

“West Side Street,” from The Place I Left Behind, by The Deep Dark Woods
